20 Oct, 2008 - Noor Dubai, a charity drive aiming to deliver eye health services to over one million people worldwide, tannounced the first phase of its campaign is drawing to a successful close, delivering advanced ophthalmic treatment to more
than 500 people from over 15 nations.

The announcement was made by HE Qadhi Saeed Al Murooshid, Director General of Dubai Health Authority, at a reception held for distinguished guests from the Ministry of Health, Dubai Health Authority, Noor Dubai Partner Doctors, and representatives from the beneficiary countries.

Hosted at the Raffles Hotel on 16 October, the reception celebrated the success of the initiative's first phase and acknowledged the contributions of the Noor Dubai team and its local and international partners.
