22 Nov, 2008 - Dr. Manal Taryam, Noor Dubai medical director had met with Dr. Ivo Kocur the team leader for prevention of blindness at the WHO.

The meeting took place at the EOC 2008 and was to explore ways of collaboration between Noor Dubai and the WHO to serve the Vision 2020 program.

Dr. Kocur expressed the need for such initiatives globally and the importance of targeting prevention of blindness in the region.
